Hazen Counseling Center
The Counseling Center is part of the Hazen Center for Integrated Care and offers brief, solution-focused individual therapy, outreach programs/workshops, consultation services, and referral services to help coordinate your mental health care.
The Counseling Center is a confidential reporting option for students that choose to report an incident of sexual assault, relationship abuse, domestic violence and stalking and for students reaching out for help to begin the healing process.
Counseling Center hours:
Fall & Spring semesters:
Monday–Friday, 8 am – 4:45 pm
During Breaks:
Monday–Friday, 8 am – 3:45 pm
Same-day urgent counseling sessions are generally available for all students.

The Academic Success Center (ASC) is a student-centered support system, inspiring every student to achieve academic success and engagement. There are four main areas of ASC including Advisement and Retention, Tutoring, First-year, Second-Year and Transfer Experience Programs and Student Accessibility Services. ASC Advisement & Retention provides academic advisement and developmental programming for all undergraduate students to strengthen and improve their academic, social, personal, and career development. The Student Health Center will not share information concerning the health of a student without the student's explicit and informed written authorization. Notification of parents, College faculty, and administrators is considered the student's responsibility.

The Office of Health Promotion and Prevention Education is part of Hazen Center for Integrated Care. HPPE strives to make health contagious. Evidence and theory-based practices are used to assist students in developing and maintaining healthy behaviors, skills, and attitudes that enhance personal development, academic success, and campus/community well-being.

A peer-to-peer support system staffed by our Counselor Education Graduate Students. Free, walk In clinic is in Hartwell Hall, 1st floor, Room 3A, Mon. - Thur., 4:30 to 9:30 pm through May 3, 2023. If you would like to call ahead to make an appointment, please call (585) 395-2903.
The counseling providers at the Hartwell Clinic are pursuing the master's degree in mental health counseling, school counseling, or student affairs and are supervised by master's trained and credentialed professional counselors. Students who come to the walk-in clinic face an array of personal challenges, from struggling academically to concerns with time management, relationships, depression, and addiction. The Counseling Clinic works in collaboration with the Hazen Counseling Center.
