The Office of Residential Life/Learning Communities supports the College's mission by developing safe, inclusive and vibrant communities that value academic excellence and enhance student development. Through collaboration and unique relationships with students, our staff provides an appropriate balance of challenge and support, community development and a purposeful residential curriculum with holistic student education at its core.

The Counseling Center is part of the Hazen Center for Integrated Care and offers brief, solution-focused individual therapy, outreach programs/workshops, consultation services, and referral services to help coordinate your mental health care.

The Counseling Center is a confidential reporting option for students that choose to report an incident of sexual assault, relationship abuse, domestic violence and stalking and for students reaching out for help to begin the healing process.

Monday–Friday, 8 am – 4:45 pm

During Breaks:
Monday–Friday, 8 am – 3:45 pm

Same-day urgent counseling sessions are generally available for all students.

BSG is a student group that can connect you with the various options that this college has to offer. It gives you ways to develop as a student, learn to balance your college life, and discover the connections and experiences you've been waiting for in your college experience. So if you want to get involved and advocate for yourself and your friends, BSG is a place you could start.

The Student Health Center is part of the Hazen Center for Integrated Care, which provides a holistic approach to student health and wellness, and supports students' mind, body, and spirit throughout their Brockport experience.

You may utilize our after-hours nurse triage line by calling (585)-395-2414 for medical advice ONLY. Follow the prompts to connect to FONEMED. Registered nurses are available to talk with students to help determine a plan of care.

Confidentiality
With the exception of emergency situations in which a student is unable to assume responsibility, all medical information is confidential. The Student Health Center will not share information concerning the health of a student without the student's explicit and informed written authorization. Notification of parents, College faculty, and administrators is considered the student's responsibility.

The Office of Health Promotion and Prevention Education is part of Hazen Center for Integrated Care. HPPE strives to make health contagious. Evidence and theory-based practices are used to assist students in developing and maintaining healthy behaviors, skills, and attitudes that enhance personal development, academic success, and campus/community well-being.

The Office of Student Conduct promotes the College's community standards for the health and safety of all members of our community. Student Conduct ensures due process and fundamental fairness to all individuals and organizations involved. They accomplish this by communicating expectations outlined in the Code of Student Conduct, encouraging accountability, self-reflection, emotional & developmental growth, and supporting students experiencing conflict. Student Conduct strives to build and maintain community partnerships that promote student success.

Student Union & Leadership Activities is the hub of activity on campus--responsible for Student Organizations, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Commuter Resources and hosts student social events throughout the academic year.

The Joey Jackson Intercultural Center is dedicated to providing students from underrepresented groups, and their allies, opportunities for leadership development, celebration, collaboration, and education.

The Leadership Development Program (LDP) offers students the opportunity to engage in a variety of experiences that have been shown to have a significant impact on students’ leadership development.
