Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits sex discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs or activities that receive federal funding. This includes admission into college, financial aid awards, athletic programs, internships, school-related activities, participation in club sports and organizations, and other College sponsored activities.

Under Title IX, discrimination on the basis of sex may include sexual harassment, sexual assault, relationship abuse, domestic violence, stalking, gender identity, gender non-conformity, sexual orientation, pay inequity, and pregnancy discrimination.

Students can learn more about options for reporting an incident and the many resources and support available for students by contacting the Title IX Coordinator.
